  1. 1) Use same perspective so it wouldn't confuse the marker and don't use double lines.
2)No explanation and label is present
3)We need to think of the pivot and explain what happens when handles is pushed
    4) Detailed explanation and correct use of mechanism

  2. 1) The description, understandable english

    2) Insufficient elaboration

    3) Keep the answer simple and clear

    4) Understandable explanation and sketches

  3. 1) Have clear annotations, explanation and draw it big and clear.
    2) No direction arrows, no clear explanation and annotations. Explanation not easy to understand.
    3) What the question is asking about.
    4) Must be clear, if have doubt ask the teacher.

  5. 1) The factors that make sketches clear are it should have labels, and annotations, so that there will be not so much need to make a specific explanation.
    2) The labels and annotations, plus the explanations.
    3) We need to take note of the movement of the mechanisms, the labeling and the explanation.
    4) It must be clear.

  6. 1) A sketch will be clear if there are labels, and direction arrows to stimulate and show the reader the motion for the device to work. The picture must also be big, and must contain dimensions if the drawing if not drawn to scale. Double lines is not allowed as it will make the diagram inaccurate. The lines must also be clear in order to indicate clearly the structure and parts.

    2) The lines is unclear, and erased lines clash with the actual line in terms of contrast. Also, there are no directional arrows and labels, which will cause the reader to not understand te diagram. For dimensions, not mentioning them in the diagram can cause confusion in terms of what is the actual size etc...

    3) We need to make sure that all the parts are labelled, and all the directional arrows that describes the motion must be clearly indicated. Lines must be clear and make full use of the drawing space given by drawing the diagram large, unless otherwise stated. Also, the parts cannot pass through a solid object, which are basically objects that are given in the default diagram.

    4) The criteria is that we have to make sure everything is mentioned properly.

  7. 1)A clear sketch means it shows different perspective(2D) or in 3D, so that the viewer can understand. It should have annotations, and an explanation, in order to explain how the mechanism works. It should show the direction of the applied force, so that it is easier to understand.

    2) Inaccurate sketches, incomplete lines, only one perspective(2D), no explanation, absence of labels and annotation.

    3) We must check whether we must explain elaborately, or have a simple brief explanation. Check that is corresponds with your diagram, and explains all necessary portions.

    4) Clear sketches.
    Effective solution.
    Leave no loopholes.
Solution must suit the requirements of the question.

  8. 1) Perspective, labelling and anotation
2)no annotations, different dimensions in 1 same image
3)we need to make sure that the mechanisms would work and that the mechanisms would fit the requirements, making sure that it would not fail.
    4) It has to be clear, the mechanisms should be easy to understand, it has to work and the mechanism has to be able to fit all requirements.

  10. 1. What makes a sketch clear?
Features such as annotations, different dimensions, clear and understandable explanations and neatness makes the drawing clear.
    2. What are the various factors that makes a sketch unclear?
Factors such as untidiness, lack of explanation and drawings with combined drawing dimension (E.g a 3D drawing has a 2D feature in it) makes a sketch unclear.
    3. What do we need to take note of when answering mechanisms questions?
We will have to take not of what the question require us to do and to label the drawings clearly and accurately.
    4. What are the criteria?
The criteria is a labelled drawing and understandable explanation which illustrate the production of the desired movement by the mechanism.

  11. 1) A sketch can be clear if there are labels, annotations and perspective. It must contain dimensions if the drawing is not drawn to scale or when the picture requires the dimensions to explain it clearly.

    2) A sketch would be unclear if there are double lines, no annotations, and a 2d diagram with no other perspectives.

    3) We must not make our answer too complicated and label our diagrams properly so that we do not have to write a long explanation.

    4) Our answer must be understandable with an explanation to support it.

  12. 1) A clear sketch is a sketch which is neat, labeled correctly, shows all the mechanisms needed and can be read easily by anyone without difficulty.
    2) A sketch is unclear when the sketch is not tidy and is done all over the place, There is no explanation and the sketch can be deciphered in many ways, when and when things are not drawn clearly.
    3) We must be careful of the question and understand it perfectly. We must find the easiest solution to the problem.
    4) The sketch needs to be neat, explains the mechanism in a way that no further explanation is needed and is labeled properly.

  13. 1) LASE. These are the requirements for a clear sketch. Labeling, Annotation, Systematic and Explanation. LASE. All it takes to have a clear sketch.
    2) Vice versa of LASE: No labeling, no annotation, disorganised and no explanation.
    3) We need to take note whether it is FEASIBLE. e.g. Connect a cam to a lever to make the cam move reciprocate. That is just to illogical.
    4) FEASIBLE, ACCESSIBLE, ILLUSTRATIVE and LOGICAL. For short, FAIL :)

  14. 1) A clear sketch needs to be well labelled, neat, easily understandable and must have all the necessary details.
    2) Annotation not understandable and very messy
    3) The correct type of mechanisms must be used, and the direction of movement in the drawing.
    4) The criteria is that the mechanism moves in the correct direction and the mechanism you used is possible to use in the given situation.

  15. 1)
We must label, and indicate and explain how the mechanism works. We could also outline or permanent marker our sketch to make it clear, and sharp for a clear sketch. We can also add a enlarged view of each of the linkage for example to make it more clear and understand how it works.

    2)
Using a thin pencil mark, making the sketch very hard to see.No labeling, making the viewer unsure of whether which mechanism it is and how it works. No explantation on how it works.Make it very ahrd to understand.

    3)
We can also try to so called, asses "ourselves" and see whether we understand, without even looking at te details. If there were things that were unsure,we can improve on it.

    4)
Understanding on the uses of each mechanism,so that you are able to explain how it works clearly

  16. 1) Labeling is one of the most important thing to make a sketch clear, keeping the paper clean is also important. Explanation of how the mechanism helps also makes the sketch clearer.
    2) Dust and extra pencil marks might confuse the markers, double lines etc.
    3) The output movement.
    4) The criteria is being Clear.

  17. 1. Labels; titles and an explanation and also clear lines.
    2. A blurry drawing; no labels or explanations and redundant lines
    3. The mechanisms that can be used and the input and output movement.
    4. It should be self-explanatory and also with labels and explanations

  18. 1) Detailed drawings with accurate measurements. It must be labelled accurately.
    2) Messy drawing and extra pen or pencil marks.
    3) Keep my answer simple and easy to understand.
    4) Being easy to understand when someone reads it
