eLearning Lesson 2 (PART 2) by Lhu Wen Kai (13)

The switch is to low and we will always have to bend down to on the switch. Also, as you can see, it is quite messy down there so it will add to the fuss of turning on the switch.

My suggestion is using a foot peddle the on the switch. How? By using levers. First, you step on the paddle. After that, the lever inside will start pushing down another 2 levers connected to a modified stick. The 2 levers will bring down the modified stick, which is like a hook with a straight tip. How does it work? The stick will be pushing down the bottom of the switch and thus it will push the bottom of the switch in and the power is on. To make it stay there, there will be a locking system that can be activated by using your toe to poke a pin, so you do not have to manually  bend down to activate the switch. When you want to turn off the power, the stick will move up and push the top part of the switch in, causing the power to be turned off.
